De Nom

De Nom

The look: Located in the attic above the two floors of the bar Ruby Rabbit, this stunning 18th Century French salon was inspired by the palaces of Louis XIV. It features silk-tented ceilings, 23 carat gilt wall panels, cascading chandeliers, a lush velvet day bed and antique furniture.
The soundtrack: Super cool lounge music, with Trip Hop Jazz infusion and European inspired funky tunes. Signature drink: The Apple and Cinnamon Mojito with Pampero rum, apple liqueur, limes, mint, sugar and cinnamon powder ($18).
On the menu: Coming soon - the fine food supper menu for gourmand guests will include lobster and quail gourmet butters, terrines and pate. The wow factor: The tongue in cheek bathrooms. One of the women’s loo’s has a toilet seat that masquerades as a Louise XIV chair.
Best for:
VIP’s and celeb spotters. Parties for
Paris Hilton, Mick Jagger, Mischa Barton and Snoop Dog, have been held in this lavishly regal drinking den.
How hard is it to get in? There’s no door charge for De Nom however Ruby Rabbit has a $15 cover charge. Arrive early as De Nom holds up to 80 people (tres exclusive mon ami’s).
In three words:To die for …
